Warren and Janet Duck married 50 years

Warren “Gene” and Janet Duck of Mill Hall recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married by Rev. Bonham at the Mill Hall Methodist Church on Dec. 26, 1964, and have lived “up on the hill” in Mill Hall ever since.

Gene, a son of the late Truman and Elizabeth Duck, is retired after 42 years at the paper mill. An avid hunter and fisherman for most of his life, he now enjoys gardening, naps, and morning coffee with his buddies at Furst Corner Restaurant.

Janet, the first-born of Emery and Helen Smith, babysat dozens of local children over the years. She is very active in the Clinton Lanes bowling leagues and the Mill Hall United Methodist Church.

The couple has four children, Kim (Bob) Neff, Jeff (Vickie) Duck, Tanya (Chris) Miller, and Trent (Lindsay) Duck; and three grandsons, Jake Neff, Dakotah and Kyler Miller.
