Chappelles celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Roy and Pat Chappelle of Lock Haven are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married on May 6, 1967 at St. Agnes Church.

Mrs. Chappelle is the former Patricia Barzona.

They are parents of two daughters, Joellen Chappelle and Michelle (Matthew) Rosamilia, and have three grandsons, Bret (Roxanne) Phillips, Tyler Phillips and Jeremy Rosamilia. There are two great-grandsons, Jaxon and Roman Phillips.

Mr. Chappelle is a retired barber having worked for 43 years as one of Lock Haven’s finest barabers. His wife is a retired custodian from Lock Haven University.

The couple took a special vacation after their retirement to Las Vegas and Grand Canyon. They were also guests of a celebration at Creekside Restaurant, with members of their wedding party in attendance, including Jerrry and Bev Barzona, Dee and Art Crissman, Fran and Ken Dersham, Ray and Judy Messner, Mike and Deb Rosamilia, Chip and Connie Young. Only Roy’s best man, Wade Miller, was absent.
