Thomas and Nellilou Muir of Lamar are thrilled to announce the engagement of their daughter Maggie Muir to Trevor Shylock.

Maggie is a 2001 graduate of Central Mountain High School, and a 2006 graduate of Westminster College (including Universidad de Granada, Universidad Internacional Mexico), with graduate work being completed at the Universidad de Salamanca. Maggie currently teaches and lives in Princeton, N.J.

Trevor is a 2002 graduate of State College Area High School, a 2006 graduate of Penn State University and a 2008 graduate of the University of Baltimore. He also lives and works in Princeton, N.J., as an industrial psychologist.

Trevor is the son of Linda Berenson and Kenneth Shylock of Port Matilda.

The happy couple is planning a wedding in Central Pennsylvania for late spring 2015.
