Luke Wilson

WINGATE — Bald Eagle Area High School student Luke Wilson is headed to the national FBLA conference at the end of the month in Baltimore.

He won first place in the public service announcement category at the Pennsylvania FBLA State Leadership Conference in April.

Luke is the first student from BEA to place first at the State Leadership Conference, according to teacher Carri Donmoyer.

Saint Francis University

Dean’s List

More than 800 students from Saint Francis University made one of the two honors lists for the spring. To achieve either list, students must be full time and attain a quality point average of at least 3.8 (for the provost’s list) or 3.5 (for the dean’s list) for the given semester.

Susquehanna University

Dean’s List

Kristina Fenner of Howard, Mariah Guiswite of Jersey Shore and Erin Reese of Lock Haven attained the dean’s list at Susquehanna University for the spring semester. The dean’s list recognizes students who achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or higher out of a possible 4.0. To qualify, students must complete a minimum of 12 semester hours.
