KAYLA KERSTETTER

Kayla Kerstetter, DVM, of Mill Hall, has completed the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) of Midwestern University in Glendale, Arix.

An official graduation ceremony and conferring of degrees took place May 30 on the Midwestern University campus in Glendale, Ariz. Midwestern’s CVM is Arizona’s first veterinary doctoral program, and Kerstetter is a member of its inaugural graduating class.

The daughter of Mill Hall residents Cindy and Stephen Kerstetter, Kayla graduated from Central Mountain High School in 2009 and earned a BS in Equine Science and Management from Delaware Valley University in 2012.

During her time at Midwestern University, she was an active member in various nationwide organizations and spent time building her clinical skills for both large and small animals.

She now plans to practice mixed-animal medicine in a rural community.

Luke Stevenson

Luke Daniel Stevenson, son of Charlie and Candie Stevenson and grandson of Hazel Stevenson, recently graduated with honors from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Furthering his education, he will attend Duquesne University where he has been accepted to pursue an MBA.

Sarah Bryan

Sarah Bryan, of Bellefonte, has made the dean’s list at the Pennsylvania College of Technology for both the fall and spring semesters of her freshman year. Sarah is studying culinary arts.

Sandra Stevenson

Sandra Stevenson, of Lock Haven, graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania on May 12 with a Master of Business Administration degree.
