Bennett — Koser

Ashley Marissa Bennett, daughter of Stephen and Tammy Bennett, Avis, became the bride of Tyler Scott Koser, son of Douglas Koser, Dudley N.C. and Susan Tice, Spring Mills on June 1, 2013.

The 1 p.m. ceremony was officiated by Fr. Bert Kozen at Saint Luke’s Catholic Church, Jersey Shore.

The bride wore a satin Maggie Sottero strapless gown with a corset closure. The gown was asymmetrically pleated across the bodice and overlapped a jewel band at the natural waist dropping into a gathered A-line skirt. She also wore a crystal embellished cathedral length veil.

Maid of Honor was Kaitlyn Butterbaugh, Wellsville, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kelly Poorman, Pittsburgh, friend of the bride; Ariel Urban, Kutztown, friend of the bride; Michelle Schoonover, Jersey Shore, friend of the bride; and Allison Holladay, Woolrich, friend of the bride.

Best man was Thad Martin, Muncy, friend of the groom. Groomsmen included Sam Koser, Spring Mills, brother of the groom; Troy Bennett, Avis, brother of the bride; Josh Schoonover, Jersey Shore, friend of the groom; and Tyler Beaver, Jersey Shore, friend of the groom.

A rehearsal dinner was held at the couple’s favorite restaurant, Fox’s Market House in Lock Haven. The reception was held at the Clinton Country Club in Mill Hall.

The bride is a 2008 graduate of the PA Cyber Charter School and a 2011 graduate of Penn State University with a degree in journalism and a minor in agricultural communications. She is employed by Susquehanna University as the assistant director of annual giving and also works part-time as a sales associate at the Woolrich Flagship Store.

Her husband is a 2008 graduate of Penns Valley Area High School and a 2012 graduate of Lock Haven University with a degree in health and physical education. He is employed by Sugar Valley Rural Charter School and Champs Gym and Fitness.

Following a cruise to Bermuda on the Norwegian Breakaway, the couple is residing in Mifflinburg.
