Wagner — Bardo
On Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, Kendra Lexine Wagner became the bride of Matthew Paul Bardo. They exchanged vows at the Church of Christ in Flemington.
The ceremony was performed by Pastor Mark Riley and Frank Bardo Jr., grandfather of the groom.
Kendra is the daughter of Dixee Wagner of Zion and the late Kenneth Wagner of Lock Haven. She is the granddaughter of Harry and Mildred Miller of Zion and the late Tom and Betty Wagner of Loganton.
Matthew is the son of Brenda Shaffer of Avis and Frank Bardo III of Frederick, Md. He is the the grandson of Clarence and Linda Conner of Avis; Frank Bardo Jr. and Alice Fox of Pine Creek; and Bob and Becky Mauck of Selbring, Fla. He is the great-grandson of Clarence and Lela Conner of Avis.
Kendra is a 2008 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School and has a management position in the retail industry.
Matthew is a 2008 graduate of Jersey Shore Area High School and is a 2009 graduate of Lock Haven University and has received his master’s degree. He teaches eighth grade science at Lebanon Valley Middle School.
Kendra was escorted down the aisle by her grandfather, Harry Miller. She wore a strapless chiffon-over-satin gown with a side-draped skirt. It had beaded lace appliques with a silver train. She carried yellow roses.
The maid of honor was Chelsie Muse of Pleasant Gap. Bridesmaids were Beth Boyle of State College and Hannah Bardo of Colorado Springs, Col. Each wore a canary yellow chiffon dress with a layered shirt and flowing chiffon cascades from the empire waist. They carried yellow roses.
The best man was Joshua Eichenlaub of Avis. Mike Crawford of Jersey Shore and Anthony Shaffer of Avis served as groomsmen.
The flower girl was Miranda Bardo of Frederick, Md. She wore a canary yellow satin tank bubble dress with a 3D floral detail.
Jessica Eichenlaub of Avis was the guest book attendant.
Following the nuptials, guests assembled at the Elks Club in Lock Haven and enjoyed dinner catered by Dutch Haven Restaurant.
Music at the wedding was provided by Linda Kanski (cello) and Leigh Haley (violin) and a disc jockey provided music at the reception. The new Mr. and Mrs. Bardo enjoyed a seven-day honeymoon at Secrets Resorts in Mexico. Kendra and Matthew are residing in Jonestown.
