Blanchard woman to showcase art during First Friday in Williamsport
WILLIAMSPORT — A local woman will be showcasing her art work at Gustonian, 357 Pine St., Williamsport, tomorrow during Williamsports First Friday events.
Rebecca (Grenell) Melzer, of Blanchard, is a full-time youth minister in the area.
Art, doodling, and painting have always been hobbies of hers. In the beginning of 2018, she saw she had quite a few finished so she decided to open an Etsy shop in the hopes of selling one or two – ten sold within the first half an hour that her shop was published.
Over the last few months, Becca has sold over 150 original pieces to people in over 15 states, and two countries.
Come see her display at Gustonian tomorrow evening.
She will have original art (no prints) on canvases and wooden pieces of all sizes, as well as journals and Bibles.
Rebecca sends a huge thank you to Gustonian for including local artists in the beauty of what can be found in their shop.
