Comedian Krish Mohan coming to Williamsport

WILLIAMSPORT — Comedian Krish Mohan is bringing his highly rated, award winning stand-up comedy show to Arthaus Projects in Williamsport on Friday, March 22.

Mohan is a socially-conscious, Indian stand-up comedian and writer who regularly tours the country. He performs in small theaters, bars, comedy clubs, colleges, DIY, and house venues. With his quirky attitude, charming personality, and intelligent humor, Krish captivates and engages audiences of all backgrounds, tackling hot button topics like race, religion, war, and immigration, all while adding an optimistic, philosophical, and sociological twist.

Mohan was featured on NPR in New York and North Carolina. He has performed at several Fringe Festivals such as IndyFringe, Pittsburgh Fringe, Capital Fringe, and Philly Fringe Arts. He is an audience favorite with his unique brand of comedy and social vigilantism, even winning the 2018 Pittsburgh Fringe Festival Audience Choice award.

He has also opened for nationally touring headliners like Stewart Huff, Redacted Tonight’s Lee Camp and Hari Kondabolu. Krish is the host of the weekly socio-political commentary web show, Fork Full of Noodles and the podcast Taboo Table Talk.

Also performing are comedians Rasheed Wesley Jr. of Chester, Joshua Dweh of Philadelphia, and Eddie Kiersnowski of Williamsport. The show will be hosted by Williamsport comedian Kevin Seibert.

Advance tickets are available at https://comedyshopkrish.bpt.me. Tickets are $5 in advance and $10 the day of the show. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the show starts at 8p.m.
