First Quality employee, Don Cole, receives Seven Seals Award

MCELHATTAN — Don Cole of First Quality-Nutek in McElhattan was awarded a Department of Defense Employer Support of Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Seven Seals Award Wednesday, Jan. 25. William Burkhard, North Central Area Chair of the Pennsylvania ESGR, made the presentation.

The Seven Seals Award is awarded at the state and national levels to employers, ESGR staff members and volunteers, or any person or entity that significantly advances the ESGR mission and provides exceptional support to citizen soldiers.

The Seven Seals Award is the broadest and most inclusive award given by ESGR and is presented at the discretion of the state chair or by ESGR senior leadership. It is presented in recognition of significant individual and organizational achievement, initiative or support that promotes and supports the ESGR mission and citizen service members.

Cole  was nominated by Staff Sergeant Thomas Ritter, a member of the Lock Haven National Guard. The award was given for  Cole’s and the company’s outstanding support of citizen soldiers. According to SSG Ritter,  Cole and the company continue to be extremely supportive of him and his fellow service members employed by First Quality-Nutek Disposables.
