‘Make your website work for you’

LOCK HAVEN — The Lock Haven University Small Business Development Center offers a free, informative workshop this coming Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. that will show business owners how to find free resources to get their information online and on the map.

The workshop will be held in the LHU SBDC offices, 301 W. Church St., during National Small Business Week.

In the first hour, those attending will learn how to “make your website work for you.” Anyone launching a new business website or sprucing up an old site will find helpful information in this session. Business owners will learn how to create a search-friendly site for customers that supports their business goals.

In the second hour, they will discover “tips for measuring online success.” Do you know how much the time and effort put into a website is worth to the business’s bottom line? This segment introduces ways to track and measure progress, so you can find the answer for your specific small business.

To register for the free workshop, go to http://community.lhup.edu/sbdc/ or call 570-484-2848.
