Larson Design signs $2M contract with PennDOT
LOCK HAVEN — Larson Design Group has been awarded a five-year, $2 million open-end contract with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Engineering District 2.
LDG will serve as the primary consultant for roadway and bridge design, environmental studies, bridge replacements, roadway betterments, and capital improvement services, among other things. Partnering with LDG in this agreement are American Geotechnical & Environmental Services, Inc., AWK Consulting Engineers, Inc., Gannett Fleming, Inc., Skelly & Loy, Inc., and So-Deep, Inc.
“LDG’s transportation group has extensive experience working with state DOTs, and we’re looking forward to helping District 2-0 meet its infrastructure needs,” said LDG’s agreement manager Stevan Wilver.
PennDOT District 2 includes Clinton, Centre, Potter, Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, Juniata, McKean and Mifflin counties. According to the contract, projects will be assigned on an as-needed basis.
Statewide, LDG serves PennDOT and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, as well as a host of counties and municipalities on a wide range of highway and bridge design, bridge safety inspection, and construction inspection projects.
LDG is an engineering, architecture, and survey firm with offices in four states. The firm is employee-owned and provides innovative solutions to facility, transportation, land development, infrastructure, and environmental needs.
