Cliff Rieders presents to Lycoming Law Association

WILLIAMSPORT — Cliff Rieders presented his popular Annual Update of the Law to the Lycoming Law Association in on Nov. 15.

Cliff’s Annual Update of the Law, both miscellaneous and in connection with medical/hospital liability, is given around the state for different organizations.

Cliff is a well-known lecturer and has authored at least five textbooks on legal subjects. Rieders is a nationally Board Certified trial lawyer, and is also Past President of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, formerly the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. Rieders clerked in the federal judicial system for Malcolm Muir, and has since maintained a private practice of law in Pennsylvania, New York and the District of Columbia, as well as federal courts.

Rieders is a cum laude graduate of the New York University, Phi Beta Kappa, and attended Georgetown University Law Center where he graduated with a juris doctor degree. Cliff is a frequent contributor of the drafting of legislation in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in addition to maintaining the active practice of trial work.

In presenting the Annual Update, the attorney goes through hundreds of cases from state and federal appellate courts, looking at decisions on a 3-year cycle. Rieders attempts to group the cases in a way that is most useful to practitioners.
