Leadership Clinton County participants took a moment to pose for a photo after touring the Dominion Leidy Storage facility recently. Leidy Station, which was built in 1959, employees about 90 employees and plays an important role in supplying natural gas to customers in a safe and reliable manner. Leidy Management provided a snapshot of Dominion Energy, the parent company based in Richmond, Va., discussed station operations, answered questions and provided a facility tour during the two-hour, get-together. Prior to the trip to Leidy, the Leadership group learned about the rich history in Clinton County by touring the Heisey Museum as well as hearing from local historian Rich Wykoff on the logging era and CCC Camps in our area. They looked at local demographics with Jill Walter from PA CareerLink and discussed current trends for our community. They also had the chance to test their knowledge of Clinton County by working on a mapping exercise where they were able to learn about the various resources and tourist attractions that are in our county from Tourism Director Julie Brennan.
