Local man opens new barbershop in LH
By LAURA JAMESON
LOCK HAVEN — He was born and raised right here in Lock Haven and he wants to give back to the community that has given so much to him.
William Shearer is excited to continue his career as a barber and to start his new adventure of owning his own shop.
William has two years of experience cutting and styling hair and has worked in barber shops in Pittsburgh and Williamsport before moving back to Lock Haven.
“I’m trying to give back to the community,” he explained his reason to open his shop at 212 Vesper St.
William is fully licensed and specializes in various fades, a style where hair is slowly cut closer and closer to the head.
Although that is his specialty, he is willing to work with customers to give them the style and cut they’d prefer.
William has more experience cutting men’s hair, but he is ready and willing to cut women and children’s hair as well.
Hours of operation for the shop are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome every day of the week except Mondays, when he is open by appointment only.
To ask questions or make an appointment contact William by calling 724-691-4699 or emailing him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
