Northwest names Stackhouse vice president

LOCK HAVEN–Matthew J. Stackhouse has been named vice president, Commercial and Agriculture Lending, of Northwest Bank. He’ll be located at the Northwest office at 104 E. Main St. in Lock Haven.

In his role, Mr. Stackhouse will be responsible for managing the banking and lending relationships for business customers in the Lock Haven area. He’ll also be responsible for business development, extending client relationships and serving business customers overall banking needs.

He comes to Northwest with over 20 years of experience in banking and financial services, most recently as a farm loan officer for the USDA and FSA. Prior to that, he worked as an Ag lender for First National Bank, an assistant manager for Citi Financial and a merchant services representative for Universal Savings Bank.

Stackhouse, a U.S. Navy veteran, attended Pennsylvania College of Technology, where he received his certificate in electrical occupations and attended night class for accounting. He’s also a graduate of the Community College of the Air Force Sheppard A.F.B. and has his certificate from Moody’s Analytics Agribusiness Lending. Stackhouse is also a 2005 graduate of Leadership Clinton County.

He lives in Jersey Shore with his wife, Dian, and their children, Cora and Carter.
