See You at the Pole for prayer

MILL HALL — See You at the Pole events are planned for 7 a.m. Wednesday at the flagpoles outside both Central Mountain High School and Central Mountain Middle School.

Students, teachers, school staff members, pastors and the general public are invited to gather together at the flagpole and pray before classes begin for the day.

This year’s theme for the global event is “Fix Our Eyes (on Jesus).” For information, visit

Fall revival at Summit Hill

HOWARD — Summit Hill Wesleyan Church, 1725 Summit Hill Road, will host Rev. Leroy Wion for a fall revival, slated next Sunday through Thursday, Oct. 1 to 5.

The revival begins Sunday, Oct. 1 with Sunday school at 9:30 a.m., worship at 10:30, and the revival service at 6:30 p.m. Services will be held at 7 p.m. each weekday. Each revival service will include special music.

women’s conference

CASTANEA — Revive ’17 for women of all ages will be live-streamed Friday and next Saturday at Big Woods Bible Church, 125 Logan Ave., Lock Haven. The conference features eight speakers building on Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth’s new work on the scripture passage of Titus 2.

St. Mark plans outdoor hymn sing

SNYDERTOWN — A hymn sing around the fire pit is planned at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6 at St. Mark Lutheran Church. Bring your favorite fire pit snacks. The grill will be available.
