MH Sunrise Rotary hosts district governor

The Mill Hall Sunrise Rotary Club welcomed District Governor Mike Hornby at a special meeting to discuss any club issues and get answers to any questions from members. From left are Kassy George, April Henry-Bittner, Bonnie Hannis, Assistant Governor Wendy Stiver, Hornby, and Club President Jason Walker. Hornby also spoke to club members about district goals and upcoming projects. A native of Zimbabwe, Hornby has traveled to more than 50 countries, raced crocodiles on the Zambezi River, dived with great white sharks and befriended a black bear. He chooses to call the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia home — where he is a CEO and publisher. The Rotary district encompassing Clinton County includes clubs in West Virginia and two other states. To learn more about Sunrise Rotary, join the club at one of its breakfast meetings at 7 a.m. the second and last Thursday of each month at Fox’s Restaurant.
