Hill climb rider survives this stunt
Jack Myers of Bellefonte is seen participating in a hill climb on June 21, 1964 in Beaverdale, Pa. A Lock Haven resident at the time, he ended up in a body cast shortly after this photo was taken, but “it worked out all right,” he says. Although he continued to ride a motorcycle, he chose to let this particular event be his last hill climb, he says. The bike, which ran on alcohol, is a modified 1928 Indian Scout.
