In honor of its 40th anniversary, the Sugar Valley Lions Club of District 14-G provided a new place of rest and contemplation for local community residents and visitors. Two park benches were purchased and installed next to the veterans memorial area in Loganton. A plaque commemorating the Lions club’s anniversary and this donation appears on the benches. The park benches are used in fair weather by local retirees, community residents and employees during lunch times. The benches also provide a perfect viewing area during parades.
