LOCK HAVEN — The Kiwanis Club of Bald Eagle and Nittany Valleys, in partnership with the Sons of Italy in Lock Haven, will hold its annual Kash Bash fundraising event Saturday from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Sons lodge on North Henderson St.

Cash will be given away every 15 minutes for a total of $5,000. Winners need not be present to win, and winning tickets are put back in the barrel so multiple wins are possible. Additional raffles and games will be held.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. with free food and refreshments, including the Sons’ famous meatballs, available beginning at 5:30. Tickets are available at Miller’s Furniture or Miller Brothers Auto Sales or from any BENV Kiwanis member. Parking is available in the Sons of Italy lots with overflow parking at Robb Elementary School.

All proceeds from this event benefit local youth and community organizations.

Last year’s event at the Sons was a success, according to the Kiwanians. Kiwanis of BENV club president Della Watson and Sons of Italy club president Dan Vilello have both pledged that this year will be even better.

Only 500 tickets will be sold, and they are already selling fast. If tickets sell out, they may not be available at the door.
