Lyndsay Malicky is BPW Girl of the Month

JERSEY SHORE — The Business and Professional Women’s Club Girl of the Month for January is Lyndsay Marie Malicky, daughter of Carmen and Rick Malicky of Jersey Shore.

Lyndsay’s activities include annopuncements, indoor track and field, National Art Honor Society, National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, all for one year; student representative for Guidance Council Advisory, two years; FBLA, Key Club, Class Committee, Homecoming and track and field, four years.

Lyndsay has served as an officer in numerous clubs. She has been treasurer of National Honor Society, the Class of 2018, Student Council and Key Club, and assistant treasurer of the Oval United Methodist Church. Additionally, she is the current vice president of Key Club. Lyndsay has lettered three years in track and was selected as the Outstanding Underclassman in the field. Her athletic awards include pickle ball, badminton, and corn hole champion. She was a state qualifier in FBLA competitions and she was selected as Queen Tiadaghton of 2017.

Outside school, Lyndsay is an avid churchgoer and she consistently participates in church events. She serves as an acolyte, mission’s coordinator, family ministries co-coordinator, Kidz Klozet clothing drive committee member, mission trip Bible school teacher, Susquehanna Trailways bus cleaner, and a co-coordinator for the Heavenly Angels prom dress giveaway event.

Lyndsay enjoys practicing javelin and hurdles, hiking, working out, growing flowers, and shopping. She plans to attend Shippensburg University to major in business, while participating in their track and field events as a javelin thrower.
