The AP Exams

The AP course exams took place at Central Mountain High School recently. There is a wide variety of classes that offer this exam to gain college credit while still in high school. Some of the course is AP World History, US History, Chemistry, and Biology and so many more. Students taking the exams are preparing for the long test day to take place. Each exam falls on a different day or a different time and lasts around four hours.
Junior Autumn Dershem prepared for the test by using her cram packets, which are packets full of different topics covered throughout the year in the class. She is taking the AP World History exam and AP Literature exam. The AP Literature exam was on Wednesday, May 9 and the AP World History exam was on Thursday, May 17.
She has been studying all her notes, practicing questions and writing prompts to be ready for the exams and hopefully pass to get college credit. The exam is scored from a 1- 5. To gain a college credit you must score a 4 or a 5 on the exam, while some colleges do accept a 3.
Sophomore Hannah Wakefield participated in the AP US History course and took the exam Friday, May 11. She found a lot of useful study material online to help her prepare to pass the exam.
As many of the exams have ended, many students tried their best to succeed in gaining the college credit for the class. From using online resources, study guides and in class packets, students tried their best on the exams.
