Reptile Rumble DiscoverE Program
On Wednesday, July 4, at 1:00 p.m., there will be a program at Kettle Creek State Park called “Reptile Rumble DiscoverE Program.” This is a DiscoverE program intended for children ages 6-12 (Outdoor Explorers and Penns’ Adventurers). This program will focus on what makes a reptile a reptile and will involve a look into the different types of reptiles at the park, a search for reptiles, and a craft. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the Nature Center in the Lower Campground.
Coloring for adults
Coloring for adults has been shown to decrease stress and stimulate creative thinking. The libraries in Clinton County are inviting the public to adult coloring sessions with food and beverages, calming music, and materials provided. The program at Ross Library is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 5.
Pickle-Ball is offered at the Lock Haven Area YMCA every Tuesday and Thursday, from 1 to 3 p.m. The program is free for members and $5 for non-members. This is an increasingly popular sport. Come out and see what it is all about. No equipment is needed. For additional information, call the YMCA at 570-748-6727.
Waiting Together is a support group for adults with incarcerated loved ones. The group meets at Gamble Farm Inn, Jersey Shore, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. the second and fourth Thursdays of the month.
