Students show their creativity in the late 1970s at the former McGhee Elementary School, which once stood on Fourth Street, near Lock Haven University and the former high school football field. The puppet makers were, from left, kneeling: Delmas Bolin, Kenny Marr and Ashley Moore, and standing: Kelly Gray, Deanna Heck and Beth Harger. Dr. Delmas Bolin happened to be in town June 30. He and his family enjoyed the Best of Clinton County Celebration downtown. He did a little reminiscing about his school days, locally and at Millersville University, where he was an award-winning soccer player, we have discovered. These days he is a professor of sports medicine and family medicine at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Va.
