Register now for Hoy charity golf tourney
MILL HALL — The 18th annual John B. Hoy Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament is planned for Friday, Sept. 28 at the Clinton County Club.
Sponsored by the Wayne Township Landfill, the tournament raises money for good causes and has donated more than $142,000 to 35 different non-profit organizations over the years.
The 2018 tournament will benefit the Acorn School, the Lock Haven Area Shoe Bank, and IMPACT.
The event begins with a light breakfast and registration at 9 a.m. The tournament will commence with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. Lunch is offered at “The Turn,” and a pizza and wings buffet will follow on the patio, around 4 p.m.
Prizes will be awarded and a raffle drawing held at 4 p.m.
Registration is due Sept. 14.
The fee is $125 for a single golfer ($500 for a foursome). Anyone not registering in a foursome will be grouped with other single golfers. Entry fees include a cart, greens fee, lunch, drinks and prizes.
Sponsorship levels are Tournament Sponsor at $750 which includes the entry fee for a foursome; Goat Herd Sponsor at $600 which also includes the entry fee for a foursome; and Hole/Tee Sponsor at $150 which includes a sign on the golf course.
