Office of Aging rep to speak at support group

LOCK HAVEN –Amy Heverly, lead caseworker for the Office of Aging, will be the guest speaker at the next meeting of the Alzheimer’s and Caregiver’s Support Group on Tuesday, Dec.11 at 7 p.m. in Conference Room B of Susque-View.

Amy will give an overview of the services, including in-home services, coordination of waiver services which allows nursing home eligible clients to remain at home, the Caregiver Support program and other benefits provided by the Office of Aging.

Amy has worked for the Area Agency on Aging in Williamsport for 25 years and is a resident of Clinton County.

The Support Group is free and open to anyone caring for someone with memory loss and to those interested in learning more about this topic.

It meets at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month in Conference Room B of Susque-View.
