LOCK HAVEN — The Buffalo Valley Riding Club in Lewisburg has established the Penny Bauman Memorial Class, which will be an annual event, with proceeds benefiting the Clinton County SPCA this year.

Penny, who passed away this year after a courageous battle with cancer, enjoyed showing her horses and was a huge proponent of adopting pets that needed her love and care.

Following the event, a banquet was held and the rider who accumulated the most points during the show season was honored. The winner was Anne Dincher and she received a trophy at the banquet.

The riding club will be donating the entry fees for Penny’s class to her favorite charity, the local SPCA. Penny’s mother, Mary Kay Englert, and brother, Steve Englert, presented the award to Dincher.
