Sad to see Town Tavern go down
For some local residents, it’s really sad to see the Town Tavern on Bellefonte Avenue being demolished. Back in the day, that was a great place to go on Friday and Saturday nights when a live band would play and young people would dance the night away. During the week, it was a great lunch spot and there were many wedding receptions and banquets in the dining area.
Donate prom dresses
There’s a prom dress drive going on, so get out those gently used or new dresses and donate them to the Central Mountain Business Club which will be offering them to students in early February. Donations can be taken to Central Mountain High School library.
