Students from Renovo High School

Pictured are students from Renovo High School’s class of 1960. From left, Bill Kennis, Charles Haas, unknown, Sandra Mason and Robert Paloskey. The Renovo High School had two open stairways from the basement to the second floor. One in the front of the building had a fountain on the first floor, Western Clinton County Historian Charles Barnum said. He’s been looking for a picture of the fountain for years. The stairways were blocked up in 1960 to satisfy the fire laws that changed after a bad fire in Chicago that caught people with no escape. Thank you Charlie for sharing this photo as well as fun facts about Renovo High School.
