Daffodil Days delivery delayed
WILLIAMSPORT – Due to unexpected freezing temperatures and snow in Washington state (where the flowers are grown), the American Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days deliveries will be delayed until the first week of April. Deliveries, which were scheduled to begin the week of March 18, are now anticipated to take place the week of Monday, April 1.
“We apologize for any inconveniences the delayed deliveries will cause,” said Katie Ronald, senior community development manager for the American Cancer Society. “Our local staff partners who oversee the campaign in the communities of Western and Central Pennsylvania will provide updates accordingly.”
