LHU to hold 24-hour
LOCK HAVEN– Lock Haven University will hold its fourth annual All In Day of Giving scholarship fundraiser from noon on Thursday, April 4 through noon on Friday, April 5. All In is a 24-hour day of giving challenge in which donations are made toward student scholarships in support of specific LHU programs.
This year’s overall fundraising goal is $50,000, with funds going to support scholarships for student athletes, as well as the university’s Student Retention Scholarship Fund. Donors may choose a specific athletic team to receive their gift or opt to have their donation go specifically to student retention.
Lock Haven University President, Robert Pignatello, recently established the Student Retention Scholarship Fund to assist students experiencing financial hardships, while aiming to increase student retention.
Throughout the 24-hour period there will be a phone-a-thon and fundraising totals will be regularly updated on the university’s website and social media platforms, as well as video challenges shared on social media.
To make a gift, visit www.lockhaven.edu/allin. Gifts can be made early or during the 24-hour fundraiser.
