Former local resident named to “Who’s Who in America”

LOCK HAVEN — Beverly Jane (Miller) Wadsworth of Dummer, N.H., has been awarded a lifetime achievment Award –an honor reserved for Marquis Biographees — an honor to those who have achieved career longevity and demonstrated unwavering excellence in their chosen field.

A 1950 graduate of Lock Haven High School, Beverly is a 1953 graduate of the Lock Haven School of Nursing where she earned a registered nurse degree, and a graduate of the Willilamsport School of Anesthesia with a CRNA. She is also a Red Cross R.N., an N.P., and most of all, still “the neighborhood nurse.”

Beverly is the daughter of Charles and Esther Miller, both deceased, of Flemington, and is married to Earl C. Wadsworth, formerly of Lock Haven and now deceased. She is the mother of two children, Kerry Lee Bergeron (David) of Belmont, N.H., and Jay C. Wadsworth of Dummer, N.H.
