∫ Lock Haven Area Shoe Bank, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. After this event, the Shoe Bank will close for the summer, to re-open Aug. 17.
∫ Flag raising, 2 p.m., Rest Haven Memorial Park. The Jersey Shore Honor Guard will be performing Taps and a 21 gun salute and Pennsylvania Queens from the International United Miss will be there placing flags.
∫ Venture Crew 007 spaghetti dinner, 4 to 8 p.m., Lock Haven Elks Lodge. Tickets: $8 for adults, $4 for kids. For more information call John Fye at 570-786-7187.
∫ Woolrich United Methodist Church yard sale, to raise money for two local people with healthcare expenses. Others in the surrounding area will also be participating.
∫ Spring Festival, 11 a.m. to ?, Phelps Chapel Church at the Pine Creek exit off of Route 220. Feat. homemade ice cream, potato salad, baked beans, hamburg bbq, hot dogs and dessert.
∫ “A celebration of service: Honoring Pennsylvania Veterans,” ceremony begins at 12:30 p.m., Pennsylvania Military Museum, 51 Boal Ave., Boalsburg. U.S. Army reunion and memorial service sponsored by the Pennsylvania National Guard.
∫ Country style ham and turkey dinner, noon to 6 p.m., Immaculate Conception Parish Hall, 5973 Jacks Hollow Rd., Williamsport. Tickets: $9.50 for adults, $4 children age 4 to 12 and children 3 and under eat free. Take out available after 1 p.m.
∫ Introduction to Archery Program, 1-5 p.m., Little Pine State Park archery range, 2.36 miles north of the park office. Two certified instructors will be on site, and all equipment will be provided. Additional activities will be available while you are waiting to shoot.
∫ Scrabble Club, 7 to 9 p.m., Avenue 209 Coffee House, 209 Bellefonte Ave., Lock Haven. All are welcome.
∫ Election Day Spaghetti Dinner, 4 to 7 p.m., Woolrich United Methodist Church, 1080 Park Ave., Woolrich. Cost: $7 for adults, $4 for kids 5 to 10 and children 4 and under eat free. Take out is available. All funds will benefit the Boyscouts of America Woolrich Troop 66.
∫ “Restoring Imperiled Young Forest Communities,” 6 p.m., Lowry Room on the 3rd floor of the J.V. Brown Library. Presented by Lisa Williams.
∫ CCC Camp S-87 (Cross Fork), 8 p.m., Ole Bull State Park amphitheater.
∫ “World War II revisited Living History Bivouac,” bivouac open to the public 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. Donation requested. Pennsylvania Military Museum, 51 Boal Ave., Boalsburg. Axis and Allied living historians encamp on the grounds portraying field life in the European Theater of Operations, 1944-45. A short history of the war begins at 12:45 p.m. immediately followed by a tactical demonstration against German opposition.
