CORRECTION
“Real oppression was the forced removal in 1838 of the Cherokee Indians from the southweast to Oklahoma in bad weather,” was one of the definitions of real oppression listed by James Holter of Howard in a recent letter to the editor published in The Express. The date was incorrectly listed as 1938. The Express apologizes for the error.
