Clinton County township officials plan convention
LOCK HAVEN — The Clinton County Association of Township Officials will be holding the 107th County Convention on Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Moose Lodge #100, 150 S. Hanna St., Lock Haven.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. There will be vendors providing information and or displays from 5-6 p.m., raffle drawings, 50/50, informational presenters, good food and a cash bar. The evening will consist of a buffet served dinner at 6 p.m., a short business meeting and brief speakers.
A non-refundable dinner reservation for all attendees with payment of $25 per person is requested.
Just a reminder to the elected officials that the attendance compensation rate is $50 plus mileage and will be reimbursed to you by your township per code section 1401 which authorizes officials and employees to attend county conventions; supervisors, secretaries, treasurers, managers, solicitors, engineers, auditors and tax collectors.
If you choose to bring a guest all reservations must be paid in advance by your township secretary treasurer or individuals by Sept. 14.
The menu for the evening is a two choice buffet of roast beef, stuffing and mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetable, rolls and chicken alfredo, pasta, salad, rolls, dessert, and drinks. A cash bar will also be available.
At the close of the evening there will be a 50/50 drawing and door prizes to be given away. As always, your participation is appreciated and we look forward to seeing you there.
