Civil War
Round Table
There will be a Civil War Roundtable on Monday, Sept. 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Avenue 209 Coffee House, 209 Bellefonte Ave., Lock Haven. There will be open discussion on favorite stories of the Civil War. An example of which is that Jennie Wade was the only civilian killed during the Battle of Gettysburg however 11 were killed after the battle picking up souveniers.
All are welcome to attend.
Clinton County Republican Party
The Clinton County Republican Party will meet for its next regular meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the Piper Building, 100 Mercer Drive. The group will hold its fall picnic at Riverside Park, 86 Riverside Terrace, River Road, at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 29. Bring a dish to pass and either bring or bid on donated fundraiser auction items. Meat and drink provided.
LH Hospital Auxiliary

The monthly meeting of the UPMC Lock Haven Hosptal Auxiliary will be held on Sept. 16. The meeting is held in the Senior Activity Room at 1 p.m. All members welcome.
Free showing of Iron Jawed Angels
The Clinton County Democratic Women will sponsor a free showing of Iron Jawed Angels on Sept. 15 at 2 p.m. Get inspired by a fresh perspective on the Women’s Suffrage movement in this star-studded film, starring Hilary Swank, Patrick Dempsey, Angelica Huston and more. The event will take place at the Central PA Auto Auction, 41 Airstrip Drive, Mill Hall. Doors open at 1 p.m. Concessions available.
