Flag of Heroes Dedication
On Wednesday, Sept. 11, there will be lots of 9/11 memorial events across the United States, and several right here in Clinton County. Among them is a Flag of Heroes Dedication outside the Clinton County Courthouse at 8:30 a.m. It’s sure to be a solemn and meaningful service as we remember those who lost their lives on that day in 2001.
Ice Cream Festival Saturday
Ice Cream Festival at Swissdale Church, 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, featuring home made ice cream — chocolate, vanilla, peanut butter, pineapple, strawberry, maple nut and banana — along with hot sausage, hot dogs, bar-b-ques and funnel cakes. Also games for the kids.

The Farm-City Family Festival and County Health Fair will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Clinton County Fairgrounds. Lots of fun activities for the whole family. And it’s free.
