Free Family Event
Reading Under the Lights at CMHS Don Malinak Stadium, 6-8 p.m..on Sept. 23. Everyone is welcome; all ages. Bring a blanket and bring a book. There will be refreshments, prizes information booths and guest readers.
Needlework Group at Ross Library
The Ross Library’s Needlework group will be meeting on Sept. 30 at 6 p.m. in the reference room at the library. Led by ILL Librarian Mel Kownacki, the group is a place to meet other needleworkers, share projects, and chat about the hobby. Soup Sale and Luncheon
Soup Sale and Luncheon at Howard United Methodist Church, 144 West Main St, Howard, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.Thursday, Sept. 19 Cost is $6 for lunch or quarts of soup. Proceeds from soup sales support local missions.
Farm-City Family Festival
The Farm-City Family Festival and County Health Fair will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Clinton County Fairgrounds. Lots of fun activities for the whole family. And it’s free.
