RENOVO — The Chapman Wordweavers Society dedicated their first team effort, “200 Years: Celebrating Chapman Township, Pennsylvania” to area residents and the Chapman Township supervisors, Greg Werts, George Machak and Tim Horner. The dedication was held during Chapman Township’s community picnic in July at the Chapman Township Volunteer Fire Company.

This book celebrates the richness of the region’s history and early life from the Native Americans, early settlers, the Railroad, the Civilian Conservation Corps, the powerful Susquehanna River, many businesses, churches, and landmarks as well as the abundant wildlife and stunning mountains of north-central Pennsylvania.

Chapman Township has been captivating residents and visitors for over 200 years with its rich history. Writers and photographers include Vincent Tarantella, James Roberts, Terri Hough, Glen ‘Glenie b’ Brooks, Stephen Miller, Lee Roberts, Donna Kshir, Maureen Ruhl and John Ruhl,

The ‘Chapman Wordweavers Society’ writing group was founded in 2014 by Northern Books’ Founders and best friends Donna Kshir and Lee Roberts. Kshir is a 15x bestselling author and Roberts is also a bestselling author. The group meets weekly to mentor aspiring writers to live their dream of becoming published authors.
