UPMC Susquehanna welcomes new colorectal surgeon
WILLIAMSPORT — UPMC Susquehanna welcomes colorectal surgeon Jasneet Bhullar, MD, MS, to the General Surgery team.
Dr. Bhullar earned his medical degree at Guru Gobind Singh Medical College in Faridkot, India and completed residencies in general surgery through Government Medical College, Amritsar, India and Providence Hospital and Medical Centers — Michigan State University in Southfield, Mich. He is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery (ABS) and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery (ABCRS).
“When dealing with various colorectal and pelvic floor disorders, patients often come to me in quite a bit of discomfort and pain,” he said. “My goal is to use my expertise to ease my patient’s pain locally and get them back to living life comfortably.”
Dr. Bhullar provides both surgical and non-surgical treatments for hemorrhoids, pelvic floor disorders, fecal incontinence, colon and rectal cancer, and other complex issues of the colon and rectal system.
He sees patients in the General Surgery office at Williamsport Regional Medical Center, 740 High St., Suite 1003.
