Orthopaedic trauma surgeon joins UPMC Susquehanna
WILLIAMSPORT–Orthopaedic surgeon Howard Katz, MD, has joined the orthopaedic and trauma teams at UPMC Susquehanna.
Dr. Katz earned his medical degree at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. In addition to his education, he is a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, Fellow of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS), and Fellow of American College of Surgeons (FACS).
Dr. Katz has over 30 years of experience as an orthopaedic surgeon and specializes in orthopaedic trauma surgery. Before joining UPMC Susquehanna, he most recently served as chief of Orthopaedic Trauma and Reconstruction and General Surgery Attending physician at Saint Barnabus Hospital Health System Trauma Center, Bronx, N.Y.
