Lo-cost eyeglass program at Salvation Army

LOCK HAVEN — Optical Clinic which is a privately funded program that provides income eligible persons with eyeglasses for a low of cost of $40 at the Salvation Army, 119 E. Church St., Lock Haven.

This includes lined bifocals. No-lines are available at $70. We also offer a solid tint . And now offer transitions.

Income guidelines for 2018 are for one person $23,760, 2 people $31,240 and increases by $7,480 for each additional person in the household.

You will select your frames from many we have in stock and have them measured for your lenses. You pay for your glasses at this time in cash or money order. They are shipped to our lab for assembly and then sent back to you by U.S. mail directly to your home.

Our base clinic site is at 903 Diamond St., Williamsport, PA. Through this site we run 14 satellite locations in Renovo, Lock Haven, Dushore, Towanda, Selinsgrove, Sunbury, Bellefonte, Bloomsburg, Scranton, Tannersville, Wellsboro, Bradford, Shamokin, and Blooming Grove. Our clinic will be coming on Tuesday Jan. 15, 2019 to Lock Haven Salvation Army from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Walk-ins welcome until 1:30 p.m.
