Mount Nittany Medical Center plans Charity Ball
STATE COLLEGE — Mount Nittany Health Foundation will hold the 71st Annual Mount Nittany Medical Center Charity Ball on Saturday, Feb. 23, at The Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center. The event, titled A Majestic Evening Through the Greek Isles, benefits women and children’s services at the medical center.
Beginning at 7 p.m., guests will be treated to Greek-themed food stations until 9 p.m.. An open bar will be available from 7 to 8:30 p.m., switching to a cash bar thorough the remainder of the evening. From 7 p.m. to midnight, the Charity Ball will feature the music of EBE Entertainment’s Paris.
An online silent auction, held through Bidding for Good, will go live Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 8 a.m, and close Tuesday, Feb. 26, at noon. Bidders will have the opportunity to bid on items such as deluxe vacations, weekend getaways, sports memorabilia, glamorous packages and much more. Again this year, the Charity Ball committee will hold the Mercedes-Benz European Driving Adventure Raffle, courtesy of Mercedes-Benz of State College. This trip includes round-trip airfare for two from Philadelphia or Newark, New Jersey, and the opportunity to spend five nights/six days in first-class accommodations with a self-guided tour through the Black Forest Alps of Germany into the Austrian Alps, in a luxurious Mercedes-Benz. Includes a Mercedes-Benz factory tour and lunch.
