Williamsburg man waives prowling, exposure and assault charges on 13-year-old

BELLEFONTE-Dirk Patrick Millmore of Williamsburg waved all of his charges into the Centre County Court of Common Pleas yesterday during his scheduled preliminary hearing, according to a press release issued by Centre County District Attorney Stacy Parks Miller.

Millmore is charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, open lewdness, disorderly conduct, loitering and prowling at night time, simple assault, indecent exposure and harassment, according to the release.

According to court documents: The charges stem from an alleged incident on the night of March 12 at about 8:30 p.m. A neighbor contacted police after allegedly observing Millmore wearing all dark clothing and lurking around a home on McKee Street in State College. Millmore was allegedly peering into the window of a 13-year-old girl and masturbating directly outside her window. A State College police officer responded and found Millmore hiding in shrubbery. As the officer identified himself and told Millmore to stop, Millmore ran and jumped a retaining wall into the back yard. The officer chased him and caught up to him near a steep upgrade. Millmore allegedly tried to strike the officer in the head with a 2 by 4, who was eventually helped by other officers to restrain Millmore.

Parks Miller said, “We are fortunate to live in a community where neighbors truly watch out for one another and to have law enforcement officers who are always ready to quickly respond.”
