Preschool and school-age classrooms from Mom’s Inc. visited Carpenter’s Pumpkin Farm in Linden recently. The children and teachers worked their way through a corn maze. They had to read questions posted throughout the maze and answer them correctly to exit successfully. The older children read the questions to the younger kids and helped them with the answers. The children also went on a hay wagon ride out to the pumpkin patch where each child picked out a “Great Pumpkin” of his or her own. The youngsters returned to the center and excitedly displayed the pumpkins. The school-age classroom held a Pumpkin Decorating Contest in the afternoon. Preschoolers were elated to show their family members which pumpkin they had chosen to take home.
