Bingo for Bellies

Lock Haven University’s Phi Beta Delta International Honor Society will hold its second annual Bingo for Bellies event on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. in the university’s Parsons Union Building multi-purpose room. Admission is $2 or two nonperishable food items per board. All monetary proceeds will go to Heifer International–an organization dedicated to fighting hunger worldwide–and all food proceeds will go to a local food bank (to be determined). Prizes will be donated from local businesses, and the event is open to both students and the Lock Haven community. This event is part of LHU’s international education month. Come out to have some fun while supporting a great cause.

Youth raffle

It’s time for youth organizations to return raffle tickets for the Mill Hall Kiwanis Youth Raffle. Participating organizations should return the sold ticket stubs, unsold tickets, and the completed letter with the tickets, by Thursday, Nov. 10. Return them at the STEP Senior Community Center in the Mill Hall Fire Hall, open from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
