Soup sale


Come for lunch and enjoy a time of good food and fellowship while supporting a worthy cause. Soup, rolls, beverage and pie will be available for lunch (eat-in or take-out) on Thursday, Nov. 17 at Howard United Methodist Church. Proceeds are designated to local missions in the area. Free boots

Hats, gloves and a limited supply of boots will be available at the Lock Haven Area Shoe Bank on Saturday, Nov. 19. The Shoe Bank will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock  Haven, and will give a free pair of school sneakers, socks and a book to wee ones through 17-year-olds with Access, CHIP or similar insurance cards or referrals.

Feed the Gator

The Centre Hall Valley Ag & Turf is hosting a Feed the Gator event to collect donations for Pets Come First. Feed the toy John Deere Gator utility vehicle just waiting to be fed to help our furry friends now through Nov. 22.
