MILL HALL — Members of the Central Mountain Volleyball Team raised $531.08 for The Kathryn Candor Lundy Breast Health Center in Williamsport during their annual Pink-Out match held on Oct. 10.

The funds for the donation were raised by selling baked goods and t-shirts and a 50/50 drawing during the match against local rival Bellefonte Area High School.

The players, coaches and parents are grateful for the outpouring of support received from the community at this event. The girls wanted to do their part to give back to an organization that is helping to eradicate a deadly disease that has touched so many lives close to them.

The Lady Wildcats Volleyball team plans to extend the events surrounding next year’s Pink-Out match so that a larger donation can be made to the Breast Health Center.
