November was a busy month for the Lock Haven-Williamsport chapter of Team Red, White and Blue. Among the team’s many regular events, such as Movie Night and Bowling Night, the members had some important activities directly associated with Veterans Day.

On Nov. 12, the team participated in the Third Annual Veterans Day Workout of the Day for Warriors at the Lock Haven Area YMCA, an event designed to celebrate the service of all U.S. military veterans by providing an opportunity for veterans and non-veterans to meet and sweat with members of their communities.

On Nov. 5, team members volunteered at the Vietnam Memorial Dedication at Veterans Park in Lock Haven.

On Oct. 8, members from Lock Haven-Williamsport and beyond participated in the Third Annual Sweat for Vets Power Climb 5K/10K in Antis Township, Blair County.

Team RWB is an international organization whose mission is to enrich the lives of veterans by connecting them to their communities through physical and social activity. If you are a veteran or community member looking to get involved with Team RWB, email Erin Kennedy at erin.kennedy@teamrwb.org.
